Domestic abuse/harassment

It is important to remember that domestic abuse is not just limited to physical violence. It can be any controlling or threatening behaviour or abuse, regardless of gender or sexuality. Victims can suffer psychological, physical, sexual, financial, or emotional harm.

If you think that you may have issues with abuse or unwanted harassment, please contact us for confidential advice.

We will provide you with advice in urgent situations to help keep you and your family safe. We can help you make an application for an injunction, or assist you in obtaining a place in a refuge (where necessary) and liaise with the police and other agencies to give you and your family a fresh start in life, free of abuse.

Our team is experienced in making emergency applications and will endeavour to help you with any related issues where there has been a relationship breakdown, such as obtaining a child arrangement order, obtaining a divorce or assisting with financial issues.

Legal Aid is always available to apply for an injunction provided that you qualify financially. Please click on the Legal Aid link to see what information we would need you to bring to your first appointment to enable us to assess your eligibility. We will discuss this with you when you call to see us.

We offer a free 20 minute, no obligation consultation.
